Strawberry Campout

On January 29 the Deacons went on a winter campout. It was cold, but fun.
We got to the site around 6 Friday afternoon.  When we got there we started to set up our beds for the night. We set it up once but we couldn't decide on a layout so the beds got rearranged at least 3 times.

Brother Gathercoal started his spaghetti (which is the best food ever made in the history of ever) while Brother Cope started a fire.  It was a really big fire while we poured gasoline over it.
Other than that it was pretty small
While dinner was cooking, some of the boys started to build a snow cave. They got pretty far, but the leaders didn't want us getting wet in the snow so we didn't get wet.
.When it got later, people started sitting around the fire because it was cold!
Levi tried to catch snowflakes with his tongue.
We had the best dinner ever, made by Brother Gathercoal, and went to bed. Everyone was extremely tired and cold. We slept in Brother Gathercoal's trailer and it was COLD! In the morning we went sledding. The leaders rode snowmobiles up the hill with the sledds tide on. We rode to the top of a giant hill. It was fun!
After we went sledding we went home. We were wet, cold, and unhappy.  For some of us that was     the first time sleeping in such cold weather and then going sledding.
